As a group, we all decided to use the All Star Lanes as a location for our pop music video. We decided on this due to the great retro look as well as it fitting in with our chosen genre, due to us wanting to make the video have a retro look but at the same time fit in with our youthful theme; this does this perfectly as it is somewhere that the young audience can relate to and recognise as they go to bowling alleys and hang out there to have a fun time with their friends, this is a superb location choice due to it fitting in with all of these different factors as well as our genre of being fun and exciting. We believe that we can create some great shots here as there is not only just the bowling lanes but also gives the ability where we can film in an on site dinning area which would allow us to add a more relaxed vibe to the video, while also keeping to the spying theme where the following of the performer will take place, we can play on the artists interest into the male performer by having a tracking shot of the artist using an over the shoulder shot to follow the performer and artist at the same time as well as using a point of view shot, showing the interest of the artist in the performer. During this part of the video, the ideas that we have thought of is that the artist puts a message in one of the bowling balls to the male performer, but one of his friends or someone else picks it up.
